Toronto Raptors: Dalano Banton (non-COVID illness) and Scottie Barnes (left knee sprain) are questionable. Precious Achiuwa (right ankle sprain), Pascal Siakam (right adductor strain), Justin Champagnie (back soreness) and Otto Porter Jr. (toe dislocation) are out.
Advice and prediction
It’s impossible to predict which Nets team will show up on a given day. After an embarrassing loss on the road in Philadelphia, there will be plenty of motivation for Brooklyn to make amends – but there are still plenty of reasons to be concerned about this team’s defense, especially with Kyrie Irving back in the rotation.
The over has cashed in 58.8 percent of Raptors games this year – the third-best mark in the league for the over – and 221 is a very attainable total. Expect a lot of points. —Nick Schwartz
prediction: Nets 119, Raptors 117
