Kelly Ripa has a thing or two to say about what her husband, Mark Consuelos, said to her during the childbirths for their three children they share together.
The Live! With Kelly And Ryan co-host was responding to an Instagram post shared by influencer Amanda Hirsch that asked people: ‘What is one thing your partner did, said or brought to the hospital that really helped you through your birth experience?’
While many mothers posted a long list of supportive comments and gestures their mates did or said to them in their time of need, Ripa joined Hirsch and many others who shared funny anecdotes their husbands dropped during the hours of their deliveries.

Hirsch, 34, kicked off her Instagram post by revealing several amusing responses her man said like, ‘Are you done?’ (To me after contractions) and ‘My chair is really uncomfortable.’
The actress, host and social media star went on to add that her husband actually told her, ‘I’m so tired,’ while she was in labor.
Ripa, 52, was quick to chime in and add a few of her own in the comments section of Hirsch’s post.

The mother of three also maintained her husband told her: ‘I’m going to the batting cages since you’re gonna be here a while’ ahead of one of her deliveries.
Ripa did not clarify which of the childbirths for their three kids that Consuelos suggested he take a break and go hit some baseballs.
The couple, who will be celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary this coming May, are the proud parents of sons Michael, 25, and Joaquin, 19, and daughter Lola, 21.

Some of the other commenters offered up memories of being given various foods and drinks that included one woman who got ‘post-delivery jalapeño margaritas’ from her significant other, which she added, ‘I highly recommend.’
Then there were the head-scratchers that left a lot of respondents miffed at some of the men in the world.
‘For our first child, he was filling out the paperwork and when he asked for the fathers full name, he said “babe, what’s your fathers full name” you’re the father babe,’ she posted.
‘Right before I started pushing: “It’s okay if you poop, I s**t my pants when I was 23,” wrote another soon-to-be new mom, while another quoted her husband as saying: “As I’m getting wheeled into the operating room for a C section… “so you’re just going to give up.”‘
Varying responses: Some of the other comments varied between funny, fond and supportive, and downright despicable; Ripa is seen with newborn son Joaquin in her lap, alongside son Michael and daughter Lola
One mom shared how her labor and delivery experience actually marked the end of her relationship with her baby’s father.
‘Not showing up to the hospital until after work “because he had to work,” then proceeded to arrive & tell me “I’m dating someone new because you weren’t there for me.” Worst time of my life that was difficult to enjoy,’ the mom confessed.
Taken aback by some of the responses, one woman wrote: ‘[These] comments are my contraceptives’ while another lady shared, ‘The answers here are thoroughly depressing.’
Going strong despite childbirth comments: Ripa, 52 and Consuelos, 51, are set to celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary in May; they are seen with their three grown children – Michael, 25, Lola, 21 and Joaquin, 21, over the most recent Christmas holidays
