It’s been relatively quiet on the Bellator front in recent weeks, since the promotion held its May 13 event in London.

As summer rolls around, the promotion sets its sights on the schedule for the weeks ahead. Currently, it only has two events officially announced – one in June and one in September.

However, MMA Junkie has learned from multiple people with knowledge of the working schedule the promotion is finalizing one event for each July and August, as well. The people asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

June 24 – Bellator 282, Uncasville, Conn. (Official)

Bellator 282 is set for June 24 at Mohegan Sun Arena, the most frequented venue for the promotion since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the deeper cards in recent memory, a 15-fight event is topped off by a middleweight title fight between champion Gegard Mousasi (49-7-2 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) and challenger Johnny Eblen (11-0 MMA, 7 -0 BMMA).

Also on the card is two bantamweight grand prix quarterfinal, as Enrique Barzola (18-5-2 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) fights Magomed Magomedov (18-2 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) and Leandro Higo (21-5 MMA, 4-3 BMMA) battles Danny Sabatello (12-1 MMA, 2-0 BMMA).

The full Bellator 282 lineup includes:

July 22 – Bellator 283, Tacoma, Wash. (Unofficial)

Bellator 283 is being finalized for July 22 in Tacoma, Wash., MMA Junkie has learned. The event marks the first time the promotion has held a show in the state of Washington.

No main event has been reported or confirmed for the event at this time, though Jason Jackson (15-4 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) vs. Douglas Lima (32-10 MMA, 14-6 BMMA) is expected to be a bout on the card (matchup first reported by MMA Fighting).

Aug. 12 – Bellator 284, Sioux Falls, SD (Unofficial)

Sioux Falls, SD

Bellator 284 is targeted to take place at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD, a reoccurring venue and location for the promotion, MMA Junkie has learned. No fights have been announced or even rumored for the event, but current interim welterweight champion Logan Storley (14-1 MMA, 9-1 BMMA) is a native of South Dakota.

Sept. 24 – Bellator 285, Dublin

Bellator 285 takes place one day into the fall season, but it’s already on the docket. The event takes place Sept. 24 at 3Arena in Dublin and features a handful of notable names.

In the main event, former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson (29-11 MMA, 6-6 BMMA) battles Ireland’s own Peter Queally (13-6-1 MMA, 2-2 BMMA). Also on the card, former UFC middleweight title challenger and fan-favorite Yoel Romero (14-6 MMA, 1-1 BMMA) fights combat sports veteran Melvin Manhoef (32-15-1 MMA, 4-4 BMMA).
