The Arizona Cardinals could be in for a long 2022 season, according to the NFL Network.
Adam Rank recently predicted the outcome of every game for every NFL team in the 2022 season and he has the Arizona Cardinals going a disappointing 8-9 in the upcoming season and missing out on an NFL playoffs berth.
The Cardinals went 11-6 last season and earned an NFC NFC Wild Card playoff berth. They lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams in that Wild Card game.

Rank interestingly has Arizona starting the season 6-1 before going 2-8 the rest of the way, which would be a sense of deja vu for Arizona fans after the team has jumped out to good starts but really struggled down the stretch in each of the past two seasons.
He said of the Cardinals: “The best case scenario, the Cardinals rally, put it all together. Kyler Murray becomes an MVP candidate once again. Worst case and what I am predicting here. We’ve seen this all too often. This is an all too familiar movie for me. Give me the Cardinals with eight wins. “
